Cabos del Lago is a 350 m² high-end private residence located in the exclusive gated community of Nordelta, in Buenos Aires, set on a waterfront lot with direct access to the lake.
The project is conceived through a sober, contemporary architectural approach, where exposed concrete defines the home’s primary identity, providing solidity, character, and a strong material presence. This materiality is complemented by timber brise-soleil, which introduce warmth and texture, establishing a balance between robustness and domestic sensitivity.
The relationship with the lake is the central axis of the design. Large openings and outdoor extensions oriented toward the water dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, integrating views, natural light, and the surrounding landscape as an active part of everyday living. The timber screens filter solar radiation, provide privacy, and create dynamic patterns of light and shadow that enrich the spatial experience throughout the day.
