Palermo is a residential neighborhood known for being one of the greenest areas in Buenos Aires, characterized by tree-lined streets, wide avenues, and expansive parks. It is a dynamic district where residential homes, a thriving gastronomic scene, and cultural spaces coexist harmoniously. Located on a corner plot composed of three parcels, this project aims to seamlessly integrate architecture and nature, embracing the essence of the neighborhood.
Beyond its architectural expression, the project rethinks modern urban living, proposing a residential experience designed to enhance quality of life. With this vision, shared spaces are introduced to promote healthy habits and strengthen community bonds. The building envelope is crafted with high-performance materials for thermal comfort, while the interior design focuses on creating spaces that evoke a sense of well-being and harmony.
The façade design incorporates horizontal elements that conceal lush planters, reinforcing the connection with greenery.
These elements are arranged in a dynamic, irregular composition, unifying both street-facing facades and enhancing the corner’s visual presence. Materiality is distilled into three defining elements:
Concrete, serving as both a structural and façade element, emphasizing solidity and permanence.
Glass, maximizing natural light and visual openness for each unit.
Black sheet metal, introducing a contemporary contrast that refines the overall aesthetic.
